About
Established in 2023 by Marketing faculty and industry partners, the Penn State Sales Education Center helps students transition from college to careers through the development and application of sales skills. According to local and national employers, students who enroll in sales courses, participate in sales role plays, and apply sales skills at regional competition perform two years ahead of other college graduates.

I had to share this awesome event we hosted with Penn State Harrisburg students! We had a blast discussing the Fastenal sales process while enjoying a Harrisburg Senators game. The Pro Sales Club is full of amazing students with insightful questions. Can’t wait to see where this partnership goes.
— Liz Ortiz, Regional Recruiter, Fastenal
I strongly recommend that all students consider taking a sales class in college, regardless of their major or planned profession. A sales class will help you understand how to identify and articulate value, uncover and satisfy unmet needs, and follow through to close the deal.
